ReplyDeleteIm not sure if you all know but Lewis has been admitted to the hospital this afternoon. When I talked with Mother she said they are giving him lasix fluids to bring the swelling down. She also said he had gotten very short of breath. I m not sure if it is the phenomena or some heart trouble that has been making the swelling of the feet. I will keep you all informed as I can. I offered to go up there and she said no need but if anything changed she would let me know and then I could come. Please pray for him to be healed.

Tot's follow up that afternoon -
ReplyDeleteI just got off the phone with Thelma and she said they are going to do a stress test on Lewis and also run a light down to see if there are any blockages. They are thinking about shocking his hear again to see if it will work this time. His heart is out of rhythm and has been since last October because when they shocked his heart then it didn't work.
He is feeling better and can breathe better since they gave him the lassix to pull all the fluids off.
I will let you know when I talk to them again.
I saw Lewis and Thelma at the Feed Meal Friday night. He looked weak and was very pale.

ReplyDeleteRoy spoke with brother Skipper Mon. morning seems they arrived around 4:30 a.m. I spoke with Freddie Mon. around noon...he was waiting for the Harley Bros. to start stirring. Seems there are a lot of "creatures" running around at night and could be hazardous to the Harley Bros. Hoping and praying they get home safely.
ReplyDeleteSkip called me Last night and said they were in Dublin Georgia and I am assuming was going to spend the night.I told Robin that was a short trip. But I know Skip he loves to be home.

Robin, I can't post events on the calendar. How do I do that? Also, just to let you all know, Danny and I are going to Texas on Friday, 10/2, and will be back on Monday, 10/5. It will be a short trip, but I must be with "my baby" on her 4th Birthday. Can you believe it - 4 years old! I will give her a great big and hug and kiss from everyone. Also, they are supposed to come in Wednesday and Thursday (Thanksgiving). Going to Eatonton on Friday after Thanksgiving! Another short visit.
